This abstract expressionist painting in blue and red is a highly emotionally charged piece. I started it in the middle and worked my way out layering colour on top of colour, usually wet on wet, which makes things tricky and interesting all at the same time.
I seemed to be in just the right mood for this kind of work when I did it. Every stroke seemed to be the right one. In the end it's a piece that commands attention and would be best in a room that needs a focal point, or at the very least, a little bit of colour.
